Sergachev played his Windsor game to a T: rock solid defensively, possessing a hard, heavy shot from the point, physically committed to the game and controlling play from the back end. A live viewing of Sergachev was a treat, there is a lot he does that you have to watch him in person. Easily a top 15 pick for me.

Incredibly strong on his skates and positionally sound, a combination that makes forwards hesitant to go near him on the ice. He is a granite 6'3 and 216 pounds and he is still only 18, with balance and leg strength that allows him to absorb big hits from big players and send the them to the ice. He also has excellent up-ice vision and shot. Sergachev will be in the NHL by the time he is 20.
